Zion comes from Greece and we can say that it is an all star band. They have members or ex-members from bands like: Dreamlike Horror, Ancient, Crossover, Nightfall, Snowblind, Firewind, Deviser and many more.

Actually Zion is the personal project of the front man from Crossover which was formed back in 1995 and after many years, they finally released this concept demo CD which is based on the story of Vlad Dracula.

Musically the band have a lot of elements from different kinds of metal, we can say that they have achieve to combine heavy metal with black metal touches and an epic metal atmosphere in the whole demo. Their compositions are well worked with some very interesting ideas and maybe if the sound would be a little bit clearer would have a final better result.

A very interesting piece of work and i hope this project will continue to write such good music as this and of course to make some progress too.

SCORE out of 7.7/10 Antonis Maglaras
