Yyrkoon
comes from France and a few days ago they released through
Osmose Productions their fourth album with the title
"Unhealthy Opera". The band included twelve
songs in the regular version and one more as a bonus track
only on the limited edition and their music is almost fifty
minutes.
As
a base the band has the death metal music, but when you hear
their album you will see that they aren't close mind in their
music direction and they have included some other elements
like the thrash metal. Another fact is that Andy LaRockque
(King Diamond) wrote a solo on one song (Horror
from the Sea).
Also
the band did a European tour last year with Impaled
Nazarene and Nile and believe me this
was a blast like their newest album. From the first track
the band gives you what you want to hear without compromises.
Pure death / thrash metal, with a lot of aggressive moments
raw and guttural vocals from Stephane and very nice
work in the guitars.
If
you like death metal, then do yourself a favor and get the
new album from Yyrkoon and you won't believe in your ears.
An album with a very good, massive and clear production and
sound.
