White
Willow started in the middle of nineties and so far they
have released four albums. "Signal to Noise"
is their fifth step and it is more mature than their previous
works. The band comes from Norway and I must say that they
are one of the finest progressive rock bands I have heard
from this land.
In
their newest work, they give us nine songs and more than fifty
minutes of pure progressive rock music with the way that only
White Willow knows to do it. Imagine a combination
of The Gathering and King Crimson
with the personal sound of the band and then you will have
a small picture in your mind about them.
Their
compositions are extremely well written with incredible ideas
inside them. Definitely White Willow did an excellent
job and offer us a quality album. I am sure that all the fans
of progressive rock will adore the stuff from White Willow.
