Warthrone
is a new born band featuring ex-Dying Fetus
drummer Erik Sayenga, Richard Johnson (ex-Witch
Hunt, Sanguinary) and Kistel
(ex-Witch Hunt, Warfair). "Ghost
Storm Eulogy" is their debut mini CD which released
through Ghost Storm Records in the middle of October.
In this album the band includes six tracks which are a combination
of black / death metal music. The CD begins with Bloodfrozen
Effigy a very good, fast and brutal six minutes track
which the keyboards give a dark atmosphere. All their compositions
are well worked with interesting ideas and definitely you
can expect a very good result. It is needless to say that
the drum parts are almost great and generally the whole band
consists of very good musicians and they bring to our ears
a very interesting combination of the extreme parts of metal
music. Also the production is really good and the sound helps
the listener to understand the whole project that Warthrone
has in their mind. I am sure a lot of fans of death / black
metal will adore the stuff from Warthrone and you will
hear some incredible guitar riffs and solos which come straight
from the thrash metal madness.
