Another tribute album we have here from Dwell Records. "Church of the Devil" is the title of this release and fourteen bands choose fourteen tracks from the discography of King Diamond. In the previous tribute albums from Dwell Records we had a lot of famous bands, but this time they choose to have more unknown bands, imagine that the well known bands are Ion Vein, Prototype and Black Witchery. This album splits in two sections, the first one is the bands that their vocals are close to King Diamond and the music too. The second section has groups that their cover is more in the black metal side. Also some of the bands don't have such a good production and you can hear the difference between the tracks. I think it would be better if they could have a general production and sound. Anyway again Dwell Records shows to us that they know how to make a good tribute album and i am sure that all the fans of King Diamond should have the opportunity to hear this tribute album. Of course always you can say that it could be better but i believe that all the guys did a very good work. Let the darkness be upon us.
