Siva
Six comes from Greece; they have two ex members from Septic
Flesh and Rotting Christ, which actually
are the most well known bands from Greece. Now back to Siva
Six, we should forget the music direction of the previous
bands and to take a step forward with the help from Siva
Six. "Rise New Flesh" is their debut
album which was released last year through Decadance Records
and had ten tracks and fifty minutes of music.
Do
be honest with you, i am not used to hear this kind of music,
but always i am open to hear new kinds of music. So Siva
Six, deliver a mixture of industrial and EBM music, with
a great musicianship and some well worked compositions. Don't
forget that the guys spent more than ten months in the studio
in order to make as perfect as they can this result and believe
me they did it.
Their
music flows very easily and i won't forget the precious help
for the mastering of the album which was done by John Rivers
(Dead Can Dance, Clan of Xymox,
Sopor Aeternus, etc) and of course the magnificent
artwork by Seth (Paradise Lost, Caliban,
Heaven Shall Burn). So last but not least,
Siva Six had done a very impressive combination of
EBM and industrial, in order to have a very powerful album
in their hands.
