Last
year The Setup released their debut EP and a year later
the band introduce to us their debut album with the title
"The Pretense of Normality" which was released
three months ago through GSR Music. So as usually for
the GSR Music, we have another quality release in the
hardcore, metal music paths. So far the band had shared the
stage with Born from Pain, Converge
(their biggest influence), Hatebreed and many
more. So musically, the band gives us their music with 100%
energy and with a very raw and aggressive atmosphere. Don't
forget that in this way hardcore should be. I am sure with
a very good album under their belt's that The Setup
will make a name for themselves, and assuming they continue
to work hard, they will make some progress in their future
releases. I am sure that all the fans of hardcore / metal
music will adore the stuff from The Setup and along
with Knuckledust - these are the best releases
from the past year through GSR music from my taste.
