Sarpedon
comes from Norway and this is their latest demo CD. In this
work the band included three tracks and eleven minutes of
pure power metal with a lot of elemets from different kinds
of metal.
Musically
the band combines the melodies with some very impressive additions
of keyboards but also some times are a little bit more extreme
but all these under the umbrella of progressive music.
So
don't be surprised if you hear influences from Kamelot
and Symphony X to Pantera and
some guitar solos that will remind you of Yngwie almsteen.
Generally, Sarpedon is a band that has various elements
from different kinds of music. They were able to combine them
perfectly to create this demo.
Last
but not least, their compositions are well developed and i
am pretty sure that they are on the "right" path
to make something happen in the near future, if they continue
the hard work, you never know.
