Ripped
comes from the United States and they really made me think
deeply while I listened to their latest album. Musically the
band combines pop music with hard rock elements.
We
can say that they have more pop way in their vocals and more
hard rock in their music. The first time that I heard it I
really didn't like it. Because if I want to hear a pop album
I will hear a pop album and if I want to hear a hard rock
album, I will hear a hard rock album.
But
then I listened to it again because many bands combine different
styles of metal music and we have some really impressive results.
So while I was in the third time when I spin again the record,
I realize that Ripped have some very interesting moments
and some boring moments too.
I
found out that even if I enjoy some tracks from their newest
album "Blow your Mind", I don't think I will
listen to it again. I mean they couldn't catch me listening
to it again.
