Three
years ago i reviewed the debut demo CD from these guys that
hail from Greece. In this promo CD the band included five
tracks from their upcoming debut album "Just a Fake".
Definitely this release is just a taste of what we will hear
in their next step when they release it.
So
what Overgarven offered us is basically classic heavy
metal music with a lot of thrash metal elements with extreme
brutal vocals and some few melodies spotted in the whole promo
CD. Generally the idea that they have captured is really interesting
and if you hear their previous work you will see that the
band had work really hard in order to make better compositions
and better songs and finally they have achieved it.
In
a way we can say that Overgarven have finally found
their personal sound and combined it with their music influences
we hear the final result which is really good. The next step
is to find a label in order to help them to release their
debut album.
I
hope the band doesn't stop working hard and try to be as unique
as possible and i am sure they will have some good results
at last.
