I
think the summer time was fully of surprises so far. I say
that because i have already receive some good stuff from England,
besides the doom metal band The River, before
some days i received the new demo CD from Osiris, a
dark metal band from the same country. First of all, in this
demo we don't have so good production and the sound is just
average. I said this for the beginning because Osiris
has wonderful compositions and clever ideas, which lost somewhere
in production. I wish the band will work hard in this section,
in order all of us we will have the opportunity to hear a
very promising band. When i said they play dark metal, actually
they have this dark atmosphere, with power metal elements
especially in the music and female and extreme male vocals.
This is the example that how a production can "bury"
a band's work. But i am sure Osiris will have the future
in their feets if they will still work hard and be as unique
and have their personal sound, and then they will find something
interesting in the near future.
