I
know One Eye Shut from their debut CD single last year.
Actually it was last June when the band had released it and
after a year these Finnish guys strike back with their second
release.
This
time the band chose "Days in the Sun" as
the title of the work. They included three tracks and more
than twelve minutes of pure hard rock with some elements from
stoner rock too.
Definitely
if we combine influences from Monster Magnet
and Led Zeppelin and pass them through the personal
prism of One Eye Shut then we will have the music direction
that you will hear in this album.
The
band seems to be more mature from their previous work and
they have some really well written compositions, with interesting
ideas and above all the trademark of One Eye Shut.
I am sure that most of the fans of hard rock music will adore
the stuff from One Eye Shut and their next move should
be to listen to their debut album.
