What
the heck, what is that? Murdread released their debut mini
CD, which has four songs. The guys comes from Finland and
they play old school thrash metal in the vein of the 80's
thrash metal Gods. This power trio had made some really good
piece of European metal, with some few death metal elements
only in the vocal parts. Their compositions are well worked
with interesting ideas and the guitar players did a very good
work. The production and the sound aren't so good but the
main reason from this release is that these guys haven't a
personal sound. Of course they are good musicians and their
ideas are cool but if you hear another 50 thrash metal bands
you will hear almost the same things. So i believe they could
work more their sound in order to be more unique and to add
something to the thrash metal scene. I hope i will hear their
next step in order to see how they will have make progress
or not.
