More
of Myself to Kill, what a name, is a newcomer band from
my homeland, Greece. "A stolen Self Constantly Withered"
is their debut demo CD, which they released it before some
months. The first time that i hear about this band, was last
April when they were the opening act for the well known Swedish
act, The Great Deceiver. In that live show they
played almost one hour and i can say it was a blast. Now after
three months it was the time to hear a studio recording from
them. In this demo the band includes only two songs and i
write only, because the guys have a lot of energy and their
music is really a punch in your stomach. So musically More
of Myself to Kill, walks in the New Wave of American Metal
and they have influences from bands like Lamb of God,
have you already heard their new album; and Darkest Hour.
Of course it is needless to say that they have elements from
At the Gates. Even if this is their first attempt
to the demography, they achive to have a very good sound and
the production is really good. Last but not least the guys
have some really nice ideas and their compositions are well
worked. If you like the New Wave of American Metal then you
will adore More of Myself to Kill.
