Mindripper
is a metal band with an English name but with French lyrics.
All the songs are written in French and this is really interesting.
If i am not mistaken, besides Malediction, who
also sings in French, Mindripper is the second band
that i receive their album and they sing in their mother language.
Their music style is definitely the death metal but Mindripper
has a lot of influences from black metal and from thrash,
especially from the old school era, metal. If you want to
have a picture in your mind for the music of Mindripper,
but in a blender influences from Nile, Morbid
Angel and Hate Eternal and you will
the Mindripper blast. Of course sometimes or i can
say few times, the band have used some melodies, just of a
change. The thing that impressed me from the stuff of Mindripper,
was the duration of their songs, most of them are about five
and six minutes, so we can predict that the band had work
hard and their compositions are well worked with interesting
ideas but i believe they must be more unique and they must
have more their personal sound. At least the debut album from
Mindripper is an average one.
