Three years ago i had the chance to hear the third album of the band, back then, to be honest with you, i didn't like it so much. But when i heard their discography after some years, i had the will to hear also their newest work.

Even if we wait for this three years, the band did their best and put their finest moments inside this album. "Emissaries" is the title and it has ten tracks which will keep you awake with more than fifty five minutes of pure black metal but with the Melechesh way.

So here we will hear a combination of the extreme black metal with some elements from the folk music of the middle east. Don't forget that in their first years the band had their base in Jerusalem.

Back to music now, their compositions are well developed with very impressive and interesting ideas. Definitely this is the best album so far from Melechesh and i am sure that they will continue to give us some diamonds in the future. Don't miss the change...make sure you listen to this album.

SCORE out of 8.5/10 Antonis Maglaras
