Recently
i received a package from a band that has a more gothic /
atmospheric metal direction. The first album that we will
review here is the debut album from Kindred Spirits.
In their newest album the band included fourteen tracks and
almost fifty five minutes of pure gothic rock music. Also
as bonus stuff, the band had included a video from their second
track "Coming" recorded live in Edinburgh.
So
from the opening track "Freakshow" Kindred
Spirits give us a very clear picture of their music direction
which is definitely gothic rock and with a lot of atmospheric
moments. Their compositions are well worked, with some really
interesting ideas inside them and Peter has a very
impressive voice which fits almost perfectly with the whole
music from Kindred Spirits.
Last
but not least, Kindred Spirits offers us a very good
product and you can see that overall the band had worked hard
in order for the whole package to be as good as possible.
Of course above all is the music and i believe that they have
made a very good album with some really good tracks like the
opening one, or "Down" and "Fallen".
