INCINERATOR
"Thrash Attack" is a high speed in your face metal
assault. Bassist/Vocalist Blade,
delivers some quality chanting, growling, screams, and vicious
high-speed banter. His raging vocals are definitely a plus
and keeps you entertained. It's impressive that he is able
to pull off the duties of both bassist and vocalist with such
proficiency.
The dual axe attack of Wiksten
and Granqvist blazes with
intricacy and power. The duo delivers massive doses of crunchy
riffs and high velocity whaling solos with plenty of whammy
bar included. Nilzon does
a fine job keeping the double bass pumping and the symbols
crashing. The band performs some excellent time changes and
the back up vocal chants are pretty entertaining.
These guys definitely would have fit
well in the 80's and 90's explosion of thrash bands on the
U.S. west coast and elsewhere. Their style may be somewhat
outdated sounding for some metal fans but for the thrash metal
purist these guys are definitely fun to listen to.
The only disappointment I have with
the album is that it only has 5 songs! I wanted to hear more.
Just when I was getting into their thrash sound the album
ended. Get INCINERATOR
back in the studio soon so these guys can pump out some more
Thrash Attacking songs!
