Gnostic
comes from United States and they have almost eight years
of history. The band has released various demos, split cd's
and promo CDs all these years. So it was the time Infernus
Rex records to gather material from 1997 to 2002 in this
release with the title "Hatewar 666". The
label includes fourteen tracks and almost fifty minutes of
pure war black metal. More specific in this release you will
find all the studio tracks from the "Bloodwars of
Heretic Supremacy EP", re-recorded demo songs and
some previously unreleased tracks. Generally with this release
we can get an idea for the music of Gnostic over the
years. Another very interesting thing is that he cover artwork
is made by the infamous Juan Castellano (Vomitory,
Sathanas, etc). The band begins with a massive
and fast opening track but the remains one are for all the
fans of black metal. Imagine a combination of Celtic
Frost, Mayhem, Venom,
plus the personal sound of Gnostic and you will have
a picture with the music from these guys. Pure black metal
holocaust with the best production for this kind of music.
Well done to the band and the label for this release. Any
black metal fan out there you should check this band now.
