Evermourn
has a four year history in the underground scene of Finland.
"Perpetual Decay" is their third demo CD
so far and was released a few days ago. The band included
four tracks and almost fifteen minutes of melodic death metal.
The
band seems to adore the Swedish death metal style and they
have influences from bands like Dark Tranquility
and In Flames. So besides the melodic lines
that they have in their compositions mostly we will hear fast
like thrash metal parts and brutal as the death metal touches
too.
As
the band said, they will leave the ballads for the others
but they will remain melodic. As the most Finnish bands, Evermourn
wrote some really impressive tracks while their compositions
are well developed with some very interesting ideas.
The
thing that I adored most from Evermourn was the fact
that they were both extreme and technical at the same time.
At least this demo CD was definitely above average from the
demos that we receive usually and these guys have a lot of
things to give in the future.
