Eljudner is a new born band from Norway. They formed back in 2003, when they released their debut three track demo CD. After two years it was the time for their first official release, which is a mini CD with six tracks and thirty minutes of total duration. As you can imagine from the country that these guys come, their music isn't so simple. Eljudner plays a mixture of folk and black metal with great ideas and well worked compositions. The thing that impressed me, besides the music of course is that Eljudner use their mother language in the lyrics and this gives another atmosphere in the whole result from them. And besides that they are a black metal band, Eljudner did a very good work in the production and the sound, which is really good for this kind of music. Spotted in the whole release you will hear also some narrations too. Generally i believe that Eljudner had combined perfectly all the things that they want it and they released a very good piece of black metal stuff. I will expect from them to release a full length album to see how they will react in this but i am sure they will not have a problem. Check them out.
