| Divinus
isn't a new band, they formed back in 1992 with a different
name but the core of this band remains the same. After several
years they released their debut work back in 1998 and since
then they have released one more album and a live DVD.
"Nine
Ways to Rome" is their third album which was releases
a few weeks ago as a self financed release. In this work the
band included ten tracks and almost an hour of pure progressive
metal music.
When
you listen to the album from Divinus you will see that
the band consists of five open minded musicians who worked
really hard for this result. They follow exactly the meaning
of the word progressive and they give us progressive music.
Musically
they give us what they want and if you like then you can follow
their music path. Their compositions are well written with
very impressive ideas and a very good sound which gives you
the ability to hear clearly all the things that they have
included in each track.
Definitely
you will need some time to understand it but I believe it
is worth the time that you will spend. I wish we could have
more bands like Divinus. Support their latest album.
Long live progressive metal.
