After
their debut demo CD last year, which I had the chance to review,
these guys from England strike back with their debut self
financed album. This time the band chose "Of Whispers"
as the title of their work.
Also
they have included ten songs and almost fifty five minutes
of pure psychedelic / space rock. The first time that I had
the chance to hear the stuff from Day Shift, to be
honest it was an undiscovered land for me.
Instead
of closing this door, I opened it to see that it was a whole
new world. A world full of emotions and music from Day
Shift. Definitely the band have made progress after their
first release and they have some well written compositions.
They
keep their standards in high levels and they aren't afraid
to be open minded musicians who give us freely their tastes
through the music. I am sure you will have a great time when
you hear the newest stuff from Day Shift.
