Before
some days i received a package from a historic band. Damien
Steele comes from the other side of Atlantic and recently
they released their new CD which includes the original five
song demo tape and four unreleased songs. Damien Steele
formed back in 1982 and having a history of more than twenty
three years, they survived from many difficulties but now
they are back with their new release. Musically the band walks
in progressive metal paths and you can describe their music
as a mix of Queensryche and Fates Warning.
So for sure we will have also some power metal elements and
of course the progressive metal elements to the whole album.
Also their compositions are about three and four minutes so
it is easy to listen them. Their songs are well worked and
even if some of them are for more than two decades you can
see that they can still standing after so many years. Definitely
you can say that Damien Steele is like the big progressive
metal bands and if they haven't these problems, now we will
talk for them too. But if you are a fan of progressive music
then you must hear this stuff. You will surprised by their
musicianship and their songs structure which is almost excellent.
