I
have followed Crystal Tears from their beginning. This
band has previously released some demos but everything was
self financed. Now it was the time for them to make the big
step and they released their new album through Pure Steel
Records.
"Choirs
of Immortal" is the title of this album; it has nine
tracks and almost thirty six minutes of pure heavy metal assault.
Once again the band has changed members but the most important
is the change of their singer. Now Crystal Tears is
one more band that has female vocals.
Of
course because the band plays heavy metal, Natasa,
the singer, doesn't have a "sweet" voice instead,
her voice is really powerful and aggressive. Again, the compositions
from Crystal Tears are well written with very interesting
ideas and above all have the will of heavy metal inside them.
Most
of the songs are around three minutes in duration and are
straight forward in your face. Don';t forget that the band
had support W.A.S.P. in their latest visit in Greece. Generally
Crystal Tears is a dedicated band and I hope this will
be the start of their success.
