The
Coven is a new band that has only two years of existence
and a few days ago they released their debut demo CD with
the title "Witching Hour of the Coven". Here
you will find five tracks and almost thirty five minutes of
pure old school doom metal in the finest way.
So
what will you hear in this demo? Just pure doom metal and
believe me The Coven have included all the elements
that we want to hear, putting their personal touch inside
their songs and finally the very theatrical voice of Mikko
makes the whole project really interesting.
The
band wrote some impressive and well created compositions,
most of which are mid tempo, giving us the chance to be doomed
with their help. The production and the sound are as good
as it should be and I am sure The Coven is one more
band that follows the leaders of doom metal without copying
them. They are making steps forward with their music while
remain true to their roots.
I
am sure that most of the fans of doom metal will adore the
stuff of The Coven and be sure to buy your copy right
