Common
Grave comes from Italy and they formed back in 1999 when
they played brutal death metal. After some line up changes
they decided to change their music direction so now Common
Grave follows the black metal path.
"Memories"
is their latest demo CD which was released last year and they
have included two tracks and almost twenty minutes of pure
blasphemous black metal. So as you can see the band have two
quite long compositions and I believe that with this they
walk on a thin line.
Because
some times you will have a brilliant song but some other time
you just feel bored waiting for the track to end. The thing
that I saw in this demo was the fact that Common Grave
want to give as a picture of how they can play their music.
From furious black metal moments to few melodic tunes.
Last
but not least the band was as support act for bands like:
Ancient, Ensoph, Mater
Tenebra and many more. I believe the fans of black
meta should listen to the stuff from Common Grave.
