The
Chant comes from Finland and they have so far a ten years
history and "Sighs" is their latest demo
Cd which includes four songs. Actually the band has an album
so far released back in 1998 and another two demos. Musically
The Chant, cover the melodic metal path with a great
atmosphere and a lot of emotions. I didn’t believe when
i heard for first time the stuff from them that they put so
many emotions inside their songs. Actually you can feel the
songs; you can understand what the band had passed in the
past years through this demo. Besides that their music is
really good with well worked compositions and great ideas
inside them. I really don't know why The Chant hasn't
a label with such good stuff as "Sighs".
All the fans of melodic / emotional metal should check them
out. Imagine the band To Die For, with less
gothic elements and more metal ones and you will have music
from The Chant. Well done guys and i hope one day you
will release your second album and it will be a great step
forward.
