Cerebus
Effect last year released their latest album "Acts
of Deception" and believe me this album came out
of the blue. I mean the band comes from United States and
I never expected to receive such a work like this one.
First
of all, we have a full length album with eleven songs and
more than fifty minutes of pure progressive rock music. Another
fact is that the band doesn't have a singer, so all these
minutes we will hear an instrumental version of prog rock.
Definitely
it isn't the easiest thing in the world to lisen to, but Cerebus
Effect have made a very clever movement with their well
worked compositions and if you set free yourself to the music
of Cerebus Effect you won't understand how the minutes
passed.
I
don't know how the band should sound with lyrics and a strong
singer, but in this phase Cerebus Effect have done
their best and they put their finest moments inside this album.
