Beyon-d-lusion
comes from France and they have a small history with only
three years of existence. Actually the band had two members
from Furia, another band from France and in
the end of last year they released their debut album with
the title "Intuispection" through Adipocere
Records.
Basically
we can say that the band walks in the gothic metal paths but
because they are open minded musicians they have included
a lot of different elements from music around the world. So
here you will be able to hear elements from electronic music,
some touches from oriental elements, heavy guitars and a female
voice which is similar to Anneke van Giersbergen's
(The Gathering).
Definitely
their compositions are more than well written with some really
impressive moments and very interesting ideas. So as you can
see this isn't another typical gothic metal release. For sure
they have their base there but they have also expanded their
horizons and finally we have an almost great result.
