Anubis
Rising comes from the United States but unfortunately
now they have disbanded. So Uncouth Industries, release
a CD with the title "Funerary Preamble" which
they include the two EPs from the band and one split CD. So
in this album we have all the releases from Anubis Rising.
Musically the band walks in Death / Doom metal paths with
some experimental elements in their music. For sure the fans
of doom metal will adore the stuff from them and their compositions
are well worked with interesting ideas and generally the band
have write some really good tracks but also some other are
just average songs. I don't know why they split but i have
the vision that this band could give more things in the metal
scene. If you adore hearing doom metal and a band with influences
from Neurosis and Isis then Anubis
Rising will be your band. So at last you will have more
than seventy minutes of pure experimental doom / death metal
music in your ears and expected to have a very good experience
during the listening time of this album.
